Forevermark diamonds are cut and polished only by Authorized Forevermark Diamantaires.
Through beneficiation, The De Beers Group of Companies encourages the sale of a proportion of its diamonds to local customers for manufacturing in countries where diamonds are sourced. This keeps the value of those diamonds in the country, supporting the growth of the local sorting, cutting and polishing industries.
At one of the Authorized Forevermark Diamantaire’s facilities in Gaborone, Botswana, we encounter three skilled women who provide for their families using their expertise in diamond cutting and polishing.
All Authorized Forevermark Diamantaires must meet the Forevermark Integrity Requirements, a set of business, social and environmental standards, and their compliance with these standards is checked at least once a year by Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS), a leading third party auditor.
