Just 1/5000th the width of a human hair, the inscription can only be seen through a Forevermark viewer, at an Authorized Forevermark Jeweler. The unique identification number is also recorded on the personalized Forevermark Identification card that accompanies each diamond.
All Forevermark Diamonds can be registered on Forevermark.com to store your unique identification number and diamond details, providing reassurance that your diamond is uniquely yours.
A Diamond Is Forever
Each Forevermark diamond undergoes a journey of rigorous selection. This is why less than 1% percent of the world’s diamonds are worthy of the Forevermark inscription. The unique inscription is an assurance that every Forevermark diamond meets our exceptional standards of beauty, rarity and responsible sourcing. Only a Forevermark diamond can live up to the promise of forever.
The Pursuit Of Absolute Beauty
Through our experience, expertise and rigorous selection process, Forevermark goes beyond the standard 4Cs to select only the most beautiful diamonds. Less than 1% of the world’s diamonds become Forevermark – a diamond to treasure forever.
Selection & Grading
Masters in the art of selection, experts at the Forevermark Diamond Institute scrupulously verify that each diamond meets Forevermark’s exacting quality criteria.
Your Grading Report
A Forevermark Grading report, produced by expert gemologists, comes with any Forevermark diamond ½ carat and above and can be requested for smaller diamonds. The report features the unique identification number inscribed on the diamond, a bespoke security hologram, and an accurate blueprint of the Cut, Color, Clarity and Carat of each diamond.
Through technical innovation and a legacy of craftsmanship, the diamond is brought to life. Here, the diamond’s true beauty is unleashed. Forevermark demands that each diamond is cut and polished to the highest standard, sculpting a masterpiece every time.
Forevermark demands only the very highest in cut criteria. Master craftsmen must devote consummate artistry and precise expertise to produce a diamond of Forevermark caliber, releasing the utmost fire, brilliance and scintillation.
In its rough form, the diamond is carefully selected by experienced diamond sorters, amongst a sea of color and an expanse of shapes and sizes. Here the diamond is separated from lesser gems, where it continues on its journey to become Forevermark.
The Journey Begins
From the very start, each Forevermark diamond must pass stringent tests. Rough diamonds are only sourced from a handful of selected mines that are required to uphold high business, social and environmental standards. The same high standards of integrity must be upheld throughout the entire journey of a Forevermark diamond, from rough to polished state.
Each Forevermark diamond is not only beautiful and rare, but also responsibly sourced. Our responsible sourcing standards apply throughout the entire journey of a Forevermark diamond, ensuring that it can be given or worn with pride.
Our commitment to responsible sourcing is built upon integrity, opportunity for women and environmental stewardship. These are the values that underpin the inscription on every Forevermark diamond.
Strong And Pure,
As Old As The Earth
Every Forevermark diamond is nearly as old as the earth itself. A natural miracle over 3 billion years in the making is slowly forged into character by the shifts deep beneath the Earth. Waiting to be discovered and brought to light, a diamond is forever.
Diamonds are nearly as old as the earth itself. They were formed billions of years ago from carbon, which crystallised under enormous pressure and high temperature below the earth’s surface.
104 carat Forevermark diamond
The largest diamond to meet Forevermark’s exacting standards of beauty, rarity and responsible sourcing took three years to cut and polish. The diamond was given a bespoke inscription number, 20090950755, chosen to signify the recovery date (200909) and the carat weight (507.55) of the rough diamond.
A Diamond’s Home
Diamonds are typically discovered in kimberlite, a heavy, dark-coloured, igneous rock. Kimberlite is found in vertical structures, termed ‘pipes’. It gets its name from the town of Kimberley, South Africa, where diamonds were first discovered and are still mined today.
